Batting Glove Size Guide

Because we weren't trying to make the batting glove people expected. We were trying to make the batting glove we believed hitters should have. Every decision, from eliminating the traditional high wrist strap to the skin-like fit and leather selection, was made around freedom of movement, feel, grip, and connection to the bat. Performance dictated the design. Everything else came second.
Mostly what we took away. Less bulk around the wrist. Less material shifting around your hand. Less unnecessary structure. The skin-like fit, soft premium leather, and unrestricted wrist create a glove that feels less like equipment strapped to your hand and more like an extension of it.
No. They may look similar because of their low-profile wrist, but the Hybrid is a baseball and softball batting glove, built specifically around the movements, grip, durability, and demands of hitting. The resemblance comes from removing the traditional oversized batting-glove wrist strap, not from turning a golf glove into a batting glove. However, it is some of our staffs new favorite golf glove too because it lasts 10x the amount of swings as a normal golf glove due to the more durable leather.
The Hybrid wasn't designed in a conference room around what would be easiest to sell. It was developed alongside Division I coaches and professional players, with the conversation centered around one thing: performance. No requirement that it look like every batting glove before it. No attachment to traditional construction. Just: How should a batting glove actually work?
Your hands are your connection to the bat. The more unnecessary material, movement, and bulk between your hands and the handle, the less direct that connection can feel. The Hybrid was designed to minimize everything between the player and the bat while maintaining the grip a hitter needs.
We chose the leather around one goal: feel the bat. The leather is soft, thin, and responsive enough to preserve feedback through your hands while still providing the grip and performance demanded by serious hitters. We don't want layers of material separating you from the handle. We want you to feel connected to it.
Because movement inside your batting glove is wasted movement. The Hybrid is designed for a skin-like fit that forms closely around your hand. Traditional closures can allow material to shift, bunch, or move during the swing. The Hybrid is designed to stay connected to your hand so the glove moves when you move.
Because we stopped designing batting gloves around what people expect a batting glove to look like. Traditional batting gloves have used large, high wrist straps for decades. Instead of automatically following that blueprint, we asked a different question: What would a batting glove look like if it were designed entirely around hitting performance? The answer became the Hybrid.
Your wrists are supposed to move when you swing. The Hybrid eliminates the bulky, high wrist closure found on traditional batting gloves, giving your wrist freedom to move naturally through the swing and allowing an unrestricted wrist snap approaching contact. Nothing extra. Nothing fighting your movement. Fluid control.
The hands and wrists play an important role in delivering the barrel through the hitting zone. We wanted a batting glove that works with that movement instead of around it. The Hybrid's low-profile construction leaves the wrist free to flex and move naturally, rather than relying on a large strap wrapped around it.
They can. Most traditional batting gloves use a large closure that wraps across or above the wrist. Depending on the glove, fit, and how tightly it's worn, that can create resistance around an area of the body that needs to move freely during the swing. Our solution was simple: get the glove out of the wrist's way.
The Hybrid isn't a strength-training device, but it was intentionally designed not to artificially support or restrict the wrist. Our philosophy is that athletes should be able to use their natural range of motion and develop strength through normal training and play rather than relying on unnecessary restriction from their batting gloves. We believe there is something to say about how taping your ankles will cause weaker ankles, and we believe there is likely a similar impact on taped and strapped wrists.
Batting gloves have looked remarkably similar for decades. Once the high wrist strap became part of what a batting glove was “supposed” to look like, it became an industry standard. We didn't believe tradition alone was a good enough reason to keep it. So instead of redesigning the strap, we questioned why it needed to be there in the first place. Funny thing is, golf gloves were what players used until the first baseball batting glove was made giving customers two options in stores so they needed to buy a glove for both golf and baseball.
