Copper Layering: Copper-toned layering throughout the outer shell references the weathered surface of the statue itself, bringing another layer of depth and historical symbolism into the piece.
Symbolism in the Fingers: Lines from Emma Lazarus’ The New Colossus are embossed into the fingers, tying the glove back to the poem closely connected to the legacy of the Statue of Liberty as a symbol of hope and opportunity.
Detailed Finger Pad: Finished with Lady Liberty stamped into the finger pad alongside a wrist strap detail inspired by the foundation beneath the statue itself.

It is possible that the glove coloring may arrive a shade or two darker or lighter than the photos due to the two month long tanning process of the cowhide. The gloves may have subtle imperfections in stamping, foiling, and embroidery decor as each stamp is hand pressed and gloves are hand assembled. No one glove is identical because of our handmade process to assure that each piece is truly a piece of art made with care.

Because each detail in every glove is individually tanned, pressed, and assembled, subtle variations in color, stamping, foiling, and embroidery are natural.
